You wouldn't strip your face bare every morning and wonder why it's reactive. But that's what most shampoos do to your scalp — every single wash.

Your scalp has its own pH, its own microbiome, its own barrier. What you lather into it matters. Here's what we built — and why.

The Problem with Most Shampoos

Standard liquid shampoo is 70–80% water. What cleanses — SLS — is an aggressive surfactant that removes sebum completely, not partially. Your scalp responds by overproducing oil within 24–48 hours. That greasy feeling by day two isn't your hair type. It's your scalp compensating.

SLS also disrupts your scalp's acid mantle — the protective film sitting at pH 4.5–5.5. Most liquid shampoos sit at pH 7–9. Every wash nudges your scalp out of its natural range. Over time, that shows up as sensitivity, imbalance, and a scalp that never quite feels right.

Botanical Boost Shampoo Bar with Amla and Green Tea

Made without SLS. No synthetic preservatives. No water filler.
Our SCI-based shampoo bar cleanses with a pH profile closer to your scalp's own — formulated to help support your scalp's natural balance with every wash.

What We Formulated Instead

Silkening Luxe Conditioner Bar

18 amino acids. One bar.
Hydrolyzed collagen peptides formulated to help support the appearance of stronger, smoother, more resilient hair.
Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

Our shampoo bars are built around Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) — a naturally derived, coconut-based cleanser. SCI is formulated to cleanse without over-stripping, helping your scalp stay within its natural pH range. No water, no synthetic preservatives, no filler. Concentrated actives — every wash.

Our conditioner bars are built around Behentrimonium Methosulfate (BTMS) and formulated with hydrolyzed collagen peptides — Type I and III — to help improve the appearance of hair smoothness, strength, and shine. Apply mid-lengths to ends only. Your scalp does its own conditioning.

The Transition

Switch to a shampoo bar and your scalp needs 2–4 weeks to recalibrate. Hair may feel heavier at first — that's chronic overproduction unwinding. By week 4, most people wash less often and their scalp feels more settled. This is the science working. Give it the time.

Quick How-To

  1. Wet hair thoroughly
  2. Lather shampoo bar between palms — apply lather to scalp, not bar directly
  3. Massage scalp, rinse — lengths cleanse on the rinse-through
  4. Glide conditioner bar mid-lengths to ends — skip the scalp
  5. Rinse after 1–2 minutes
  6. Wash 2–3x per week max
  7. Keep it dry between washes

Great Hair Starts at the Scalp.
Every bar is small-batch, SCI-based, and made with intention — for your scalp and your hair. No filler. No compromise.
